She is born in 1942 in Mendoza (Argentina)
In 1966, she finishes
her studies at the School of Fine Arts of the National University of Cuyo. In
that same year she obtains a scholarship from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes
(National Endowment for the Arts) to study painting with Juan Batlle Planas,
in Buenos Aires.
Since 1967 she works on textile design. Between 1970 and 1973 she runs a tapestry
atelier in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
In 1986 she works on her first installation, and from then onwards she abandons
soft materials to incorporate harder ones, such as glass, paper and wire.
